Cash Gifting Scams

Oh, you’ve probably seen them, they’ve been around a while but recently have exploded with tons of advertising on PPC search engines. (try googling “cash gifting” - DO NOT BUY ANY OF THEM!)
Some jerks are even creating entire MLM type “Pay to get into and use my marketing system” front ends to get people to send their sponsors money first and sometimes then some more for the actual “GIFT.”

Gifting itself is NOT illegal in the form of say I want to give you $100 I write it on my taxes as a gift, however it turns into a pyramid scheme when you go beyond that exclaiming how to make money gifting and how to get others to gift to you.

The only people getting rich with these gifting scams are the ones who start them or go full fledged marketing them. If the website has a video of some dude counting his cash showing you how much he illegally made last week from people sending him $500 only so they could in turn receive $500 gifts, that’s an illegal pyramid gifting scheme.

Don’t believe me? The FTC will agree they are pyramid schemes.

It blows my mind Google doesn’t do something about this, I know there not supposed to play middleman and say what’s right and what’s wrong (they do it anyway, they recently stopped allowing ads for “run your car on water” programs and they’ve done plenty of other things in the past saying you can only advertise one URL etc in the results).

So, why would I even bother writing this anyway and tell everyone they are scams? Because people who use illegal business practices gives everyone else out there who is running legitimate businesses a BAD name, decreases peoples trust in EVERYONE which spreads very fast on the internet.

So, if you’ve even considered joining a gifting program, DON’T, you will be participating in an illegal pyramid scheme and it’s highly likely you won’t see a penny back.
