No Brainer Advertising With Email Signatures
The first thing you should do when you setup a website is get traffic to you website. And why not use the emails you send out anyway to people to get more traffic.

After your name you put a little ad with a website link to your site.

Great Idea, now where do I get the email list?

That’s the thing. You don’t need a list. If you have a website you’re probably getting email from people who are visiting your site about your product or service. It encourages you to reply and be helpful to customers and visitors.
Then you can in your signature point them to signup to your list.
